Why Do People Love Car Stickers?
What is it about car stickers that attract a lot of people? Is it the sticker design? Or the statement that it sends out? Or maybe it’s all about the over-all attitude that a car sticker produces that makes you say, “Hey! I’m gonna get one of these!” No matter what the reason is – car stickers have secured their spot in the market.
Bumper stickers are used for several purposes; it can be for commercial, promotional, religious, humorous, or decorative purposes, or it may also be used to show support for a government candidate which is very common during election days. First-rate car stickers are made from vinyl. It usually contains a bonding agent or adhesive on the lower part, or on the reverse side of the design. While some car stickers are meant to be stuck from the inside of the car window, their adhesives are found over the design part themselves. Also, there are certain stickers without adhesives. These are classified as static stickers; these are great because it can be easily removed without leaving unsightly adhesive marks.
Placing the car sticker is easy, but removing them is quite the troublesome part. Here are also some tips which can help you to remove those old, worn-out car stickers. First, have with you a powerful hair dryer or a heat gun and hold it directly on the sticker for about 1-2 minutes until the corners of the sticker comes off. Second, peel back the edge of the sticker by the use of your fingernail or any sharp object. But make sure not to damage your car. Then slowly pull back the corner of the sticker in the opposite direction and continuously apply heat as necessary. Once the sticker is off, clean the adhesive marks and apply wax for a glossy finish.
